We revitalized the historic Engineering Research Building at Illinois Tech to accommodate expanding companies in the University Technology Park. The space now features wet and dry labs, offices, conference rooms, and shared equipment areas, facilitating research in various fields like life sciences, biomedical engineering, medical devices, clean technology, food safety, and information technology. To allow for flexible growth, the design enables modular expansion in 1,000 sq ft increments and incorporates new MEP infrastructure. We coordinated the exterior renovation in collaboration with the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency.
