LCM designed a new two-story headquarters and transit hub for Freedom Transit. LCM first studied the feasibility of redeveloping city-owned land to make way for the new building. The facility houses offices for 20 transit employees and a satellite police station. An attached enclosed garage serves as a maintenance depot for road maintenance vehicles. Customer service windows and waiting areas with seating are enclosed primarily in glass. The floor-to-ceiling windows admit abundant natural light and provide visibility for arriving and departing vehicles.
