Designed to evoke energy and productivity, the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a hub for colleagues and students to collaboratively explore trends, models, and resources that impact higher education and business. CITL uses leading pedagogical approaches in the iFlex Innovation Classroom, Innovation Studio, Virtual Reality Lab, and TechHub. These spaces support active learning styles, research-based methodologies, and innovative technologies. An office suite, with flexible breakout spaces, conference areas, and offices, includes open plan areas as well as rooms with transparent walls for more private discussions.
